F.A.Q

Every Friday is Spartan Spirit Day. Students are permitted to wear a Spartan shirt with dress code approved bottoms. If there is a paid dress down day, students are permitted to wear a Spartan shirt with jeans, sweats or shorts (depending on season).
Shorts are NOT permitted after the clocks change in the fall for elementary only! When the clocks change again in the spring, shorts are once again permitted.
Leggings with prints are not allowed to be worn. You may wear a solid color legging (black, blue, khaki, white or grey) under dresses and skirts.
Yoga pants and leggings are NOT permitted for gym class.
Fall picture day you must wear school approved clothing! If your child has gym that day, you can choose to send them in gym clothes for their picture or school approved dress code clothing. As long as they have sneakers on they can still participate in gym.
Your students lunch number is their student ID number.
When sending in anything with your student such as book fair money, lunch money, tshirt money, please mark on the envelope your child’s name, their grade and teacher, and what the money is for!
You need to be an active PTO member with clearances on file in the office to come in for parties and to go on field trips. All clearances needed for the district can be found at www.keepskidssafe.pa.gov
PTO members are required to have 3 credits, from the previous school year, to be eligible for your child’s field trip.
PTO meetings are held the first Monday of the month at 6:30pm in the elementary cafe.
If you have questions pertaining to your child’s homework or issues in the classroom, please contact your students teacher! Every teacher has a homework helpline link. Utilize the districts website to find these! www.northschuylkill.net
If you have issues with your students busing, please contact the transportation department.
NSE PTO is not responsible for decisions by the district or the school board. We are all parent volunteers, and must abide by the same rules and guidelines just like everyone. If you have questions about anything district related, please contact the school, or utilize the district website. You can find many of your answers there. Including rotation days and lunch menus.
